Wellington Airport offers 5 main car parks and one off-site option: Long Term, Uncovered, Covered, Valet, Premium Secure, and Windy Depot. Each option is designed to cater to different needs, whether you're prioritizing budget or convenience.
For a 1 - 2 week stays, expect the following rates:
A short 5-minute drive from the terminal building, Windy Depot Wellington has both indoor and outdoor spaces, as well as vehicle washing and servicing, meaning that you can come back to a sparkling clean car.
The car park is open from 8 AM - 1:30 AM, every day; suitable for both early morning and late night flights and offers excellent Wellington Airport parking prices.
Windy Depot Wellington is protected by a range of security features, including 24/7 CCTV, perimeter fencing, and on-site patrols, ensuring peace of mind while you're away.
The Long Term Car Park is a budget shuttle car park, which offers the most affordable parking rates.
The car park is connected to the terminal building by a complimentary shuttle bus, which runs approximately every 15 minutes, 24/7.
The shuttle bus does, however, take an intermittent 30-minute break, during the weekends, at 9:30 and 17:30. If you need a transfer at these times, opt to park with an on-demand shuttle service car park or one within walking distance.
Stays under 3 days are not available to be pre-booked. Travellers must drive up to the car park on their day of departure if they plan to park here for 3 days or less.
The shuttle bus is not set up for baby car seating, and you would need to make alternative arrangements if travelling with young children.
Located about five minutes from the south end of the terminal, the Uncovered Car Park is a no-frills option with competitive rates.
Extra uncovered spaces are also available on the top deck near the drop-off zone.
All bays are unreserved and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Located on levels 1 to 7 of the multi-level car park, the Covered car park offers sheltered parking right next to the terminal.
There’s a 2.1m height limit, and all vehicles must fit in a standard bay.
While not the cheapest, it’s ideal for travellers wanting convenience and protection from the weather.
Valet Parking offers long-term parking and optional car grooming services.
Simply drive to the valet bay at the top of the drop-off ramp on Level 1 and hand over your keys.
Your car will be parked in a secure facility while you walk straight to the terminal.
On return, it’ll be waiting for you on the Ground Level. Interior and exterior grooming can be added for an extra fee.
The Premium Secure car park is located on the ground and mezzanine levels of the multi-level car park, just a short walk from the terminal.
It offers covered, long-term parking with advanced security, including CCTV monitoring and dedicated entry and exit barriers.
A 2.1m height limit applies, and all vehicles must fit within a standard bay.
For short stays, use the Public Pick-Up and Drop-Off Zones, P120 Express, or the Uncovered, Covered, or Premium Secure car parks.
All offer a 10-minute grace period for quick drop-offs or pick-ups.
💡Tip: The Pick-Up Zone is on the Ground Floor; Drop-Off is on Level 1. Stay in the second lane, taxis use the first. Vehicles can’t be left unattended, so use P120 Express for longer farewells.
