FAQ's: Shuttle timing, security, & long-term parking

1. How often do the shuttles run?

Flypark: Shuttles are on-demand, which means you don’t have to wait for a fixed schedule. Once you check in, the shuttle will be waiting to take you to the terminal. Upon return, simply give Flypark a call and it will be on it's way to pick you up.

Park and Ride North and South: Shuttles are fixed. They run every 10 - 12 minutes. You need to make your way to the bus stops outside the terminal and car park(s) and queue until pick-up.

✅ Best option for quick shuttle transfers: Flypark

2. Are the car parks secure?

Flypark: Flypark offers comprehensive 24/7 security, including monitored access and surveillance cameras, on-site staff (at all hours), and lockable perimeter fencing. So you can leave your car with confidence.

Park and Ride North and South: Park and Ride N & South offer 24/7 CCTV and gated access. However, on-site staff are not available nor controlling the car parks, and they are quite far from the terminals in comparison to the other car parks.

✅ Best option for security: Both. Flypark will simply have on-site patrols looking over your vehicle more personally.

3. Can I leave my car for a week or longer?

Flypark: Definitely. Flypark is ideal for long-term parking. Rates scale with the length of your stay, so the longer you park, the more value you get. On-demand shuttles still ensure you can get to and from the terminals without delay.

Park and Ride North & South: Yes. These car parks were designed with long-term travellers in mind.

✅ Best option for long-term parking: Flypark rates will be cheaper for long-term parking.

4. What if my flight is early in the morning or late at night?

Flypark: Shuttles operate around the clock to match your flight schedule. No matter the time, you’ll have a prompt transfer to or from the airport.

Park and Ride North & South: Park and Ride North & South are accessible 24/7, you will just have to wait on a shuttle.

✅ Best option for 24/7 parking: Both car parks are accessible 24/7.

5. Are there any extra services available while my car is parked?

Flypark: Flypark offers car washes and battery checks. These extras can be requested and paid for on arrival.

✅ Best option for extra parking services: Flypark
