How Does Value Parking at Nelson Airport Work?

Upon Arrival

Arrive at the car park and the entry barrier will automatically open.

There is no need to take a ticket if you plan to pay for your parking with a credit or debit card at the exit barrier. If you want to pay with cash or EFTPOS upon return. Park in any available bay.

Upon Return

If parked for less than 15 minutes: Parking is free, and the exit barrier will automatically lift as your vehicle approaches, thanks to the licence plate recognition system.

If parked for more than 15 minutes: You can choose from several payment options before exiting:

At the terminal: Pay at one of the three payment machines outside the terminal using cash, EFTPOS, or credit card. Once payment is made, the exit barrier will open automatically as you approach.
At the cash machine near the exit: Pull over to the covered kiosk before the exit barrier. Insert your ticket, follow the on-screen instructions to pay, and the barrier will open.
At the exit barrier: If you haven't already paid, you can use your credit card at the exit. Simply follow the on-screen instructions, and the barrier will lift.
