Drive to the car park and park your car in the drop-off zone or, depending on the service, park your car yourself.
Catch one of the regular shuttle buses to the airport terminal. Some buses also run on demand. Buses take between 5 and 15 minutes to reach the terminal.
Catch the bus at the terminal or nearby and you will be taken back to the car park.
Collect your car at the pick-up zone and drive home.
Using an off-site Christchurch Airport car park couldn’t be easier. All you need to do is park your vehicle, hop onto the free shuttle bus, and then get on your flight. Below are some more instructions on how the car park works.
Before your departure, you will need to drive your car to Airpark Canterbury’s car storage facility at 17-25 Logistics Drive, Harewood, Christchurch 8544, NZ. You’ll be directed to park your car in one of the drop-off bays near reception. Once you have collected your luggage, you’ll need to check in your vehicle by presenting your Parkhero booking confirmation. A trained member of the Airpark team will park your car for you, in one of their 620 marked spaces, while you’re shown to the next available shuttle bus. You and your luggage will then be delivered right outside the terminal building.
On your return to Christchurch, you will need to make your way back to the drop-off point. After collecting your luggage, head to the International Arrivals door number 9. You will find a sign directing you to the free phone service, where you can call the 24/7 office. The Airpark Canterbury reception staff will then dispatch a shuttle bus to meet you at the International Terminal exit. The driver will deliver you and your luggage back to your car.

Airpark Canterbury kindly asks that you allow for a sufficient amount of time to park your car, prior to the required check-in time of your flight. For peace of mind, they recommend allowing 15 to 20 minutes for parking your vehicle, checking-in, loading luggage in vans, and the journey to the airport. The shuttles run on demand as required.

Upon arrival at the car park, you can request additional car care services, including washing and polishing, interior vacuuming, shampooing, leather treatments, and restoration work.
